Our Kiwanis Club takes 50 children shopping each year for new clothes at Christmas. Each child is accompanied with a Kiwanian or Key Club volunteer who assists the child one on one to ensure both correct sizes and appropriateness
Children’s Book Collection and Sale
We collect books for Elementary School age books to distribute to local schools, where the students purchase the books for $0.25. Kids from all income groups can purchase the books, and there are tokens
Key Club College Scholarships
Our Kiwanis club raises funds for Key Club college scholarships every year through.
Key Club Sponsorship’s
Our Kiwanis club supports Key Club service projects, facilitate the Key Club meetings, provide mentorships and provide college scholarships for the Key Club students. We are currently sponsoring the following Kiwanis Key clubs:

Edgewood Elementary K-Kids Sponsor
K-Kids is a student-led service club for students in elementary/primary school. The stated purpose of K-Kids is to develop leadership through service to the school and community.

Today is my birthday. I am blessed beyond measure. This spring I had the pleasure of hosting 5 boys from Kampala Uganda and their director, Chinobay at our home for a week. They taught my family so much and we shared an immediate friendship. For my birthday I want to help my friend Godfrey Opio. He was hurt in Kampala when he walked out of the M-Lisada ( stands for music, like skills and destitution alleviation) home and was struck by a car. Health care in Kampala is not as it is here.
